Women’s Ministry Seminar – November 8th

On November 8th, 2025, The Salvation Army Cedar Hill Corps hosted a Women’s Ministry Seminar. The event came from the vision and direction of one of our fearless leaders, JoAnn Paynter. She had a vision placed on her heart and this event was the outpouring of that.

The theme for the seminar was Women After God’s Own Heart. Our worship was led by Euanne Fox. This time was intentional and one could feel Holy Spirit’s presence in our midst. In the morning, two speakers came to present God’s Word, Angela Fubler and Mikiee Jones. Each spoke with power and conviction, sharing their stories and the inner workings of God in our lives.  In the afternoon, the ladies partook in a Sip N Paint led by Carlos Santana Trott.

The day also consisted of a continental breakfast and lunch. Many of Cedar Hill’s Home League prepared the goodies. We were blessed to have three men from Cedar Hill Corps (Wendell Anderson, James Bean, and Ellsworth Bean) support the women by preparing/plating the food and ensuring the coffee/tea was always flowing.

Bringing together over 40 women from different Salvation Army corps and women from other denominations, the event was very successful. The women enjoyed themselves. It was gift to see women from different backgrounds, denominations, and life circumstances come together for a day of teaching and fellowship. In a world of disunity, we came together under the banner of Christ and it was remarkable.
