Remembrance Day 2025

Remembrance Day 2025

The Salvation Army Bermuda was honoured to participate in this year’s Remembrance Day observances on November 11, 2025, held in tribute to those who served and sacrificed in the World Wars and Allied campaigns. Despite the inclement weather, wreaths were laid at the Cenotaph by His Excellency the Governor Andrew Murdoch CMG, Premier David Burt, JP, MP, and other dignitaries. Music was provided by the Royal Bermuda Regiment Band & Corps of Drums, the Somerset Brigade Band, the Salvation Army Divisional Band, the North Village Band, and the Bermuda Islands Pipe Band, all led by Royal Bermuda Regiment Band Officer, Lieutenant Sheldon Fox II, who also serves as the Salvation Army Divisional Band Leader.

We were especially grateful to have the Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Atlantic Division Leaders, Lt. Colonel Scott Rideout and Lt. Colonel Michelle Rideout, present for the occasion. Lt. Colonel Scott Rideout brought remarks on behalf of The Salvation Army, supported by Bermudian Area Commander Captain Alfred Esdaille at his first Remembrance Day Parade in this new role.
