In December 2024, The MarketPlace, a prominent grocery retailer in Bermuda, donated over 750 cases of essential food items to the Salvation Army’s North Street feeding programs. This contribution, delivered on ten pallets from the United States, aimed to replenish critically low food supplies and support the Salvation Army’s mission of serving up to 800 individuals weekly. The donated items included pasta, rice, beans, canned fruits and vegetables, cereals, and other non-perishable staples chosen for their nutritional value and long shelf life.
